I’m not the person who has dreams often, but I had a dream last night that shook me to the core. I was in a small church building but the service was being held in a different room from where I was. I knew in my spirit that Jesus was coming but I couldn’t get anyone to understand or pay attention. All of the sudden I was outside and it was dark, but I could see Jesus in the sky looking directly into my eyes. He wasn’t in a glorified state, but just like a man who was larger than life. I was in a neighborhood and all these people were outside doing activities as if it were daylight-oblivious of Jesus’ presence in the sky. I felt a holy fear of God and knew that none of them were ready for His coming. All were focused on their own hopes and dreams. As I stood there staring into His eyes He began to communicate with me without speaking out loud. He said He’s coming soon and we have to reach the lost before it’s too late. I woke from the dream and I knew in my heart that “as the Body of Christ (big picture), we’re distracted and focused on the wrong things.” I felt such an intensity from the Lord to “be about the Father’s business” and reach the lost of this world. The time is drawing near and I knew He was making sure I understood without a shadow of a doubt. I didn’t feel condemned, but knew He was making me aware of what was needed in this hour.
Luke 10:49-41, Martha then says to Jesus, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” Jesus replies, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
